Its very common in AAU Basketball. There are many from lets say DMV area that fly out for games and tournaments for AAU teams in LA and other places across the country every weekend or every few weeks.

And if my memory serves me correct and we are talking about the same player (former VA resident), she lives in a state that doesn’t have ECNL or GA so they probably made special arrangements for her to guest play.she is a YNT rostered player after all.

No fascination with Solar. ECNL and GA actually have re-tweeted things from these respective clubs and I noticed the same girl being mentioned. A little sleuthing revealed it is indeed the same girl playing for two different clubs in two different states.
Ahhh. Know who you’re talking about. They’re probably using the discovery player loophole.

How long ago was this? I played 1980-1989 and it was year round. WAGs Fall & Spring season; indoor soccer, State Cup and tournaments—even in summer we had 2-3. This was a top team.
This was mid-late seventies. I grew up in a much smaller area than NOVA. I'm sure bigger cities had all of that. We didn't. We played on dirt or 6" grass. Didn't matter. Some fields had both.
