But, I would venture to say that including sweatshirts we buy on trips and the like, it is less than $150 per season. If she needs a special outfit or a new winter coat, that could be more. Our HHI is $450k and my DD is 13.
How is that possible, and why buy her so little if your income is so high? Does she wear a uniform to school? Doesn’t she get tired of wearing the same stuff over and over?

I think you missed the part about returning a top. She said a $20 bathing suit already. I was in the mini target yesterday and there were a bunch of regular $8 Tees(some had a pattern some were plain)and there were denim shorts on the sales rackAnonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:My 14 year old DD grew almost 3 inches since last spring. WE recently went to TJ MAX(or Marshalls) and she got a ton of spring/summer stuff for $150. You can't try anything on until you get home. We will return 1 top. She then got a $20 target bathing suit and a pair of jean shorts, and 2 tops from target. So grew 3 inches and spent a little less than $200 on Spring/summer clothes. I would say she dresses "nice" and is style conscious.
How did you get a bathing suit, a pair of jean shorts and 2 tees at Target for under $50?
