Convenient to the Harbor attractions and more family-friendly than the Four Seasons or Pendry. You may run into the baseball crowd if there is a game in town but aren't they limiting attendance to games now?
That is a terrible hotel and in no way more family friendly than Four Seasons.
NP. What's wrong with the Hyatt? I just booked it for a weekend later this year. The online reviews are good.

I wouldn't stay on the waterfront unless you are also going to try and hit up the aquarium/port discovery. If you want a relaxing, pool, chill vibe - stay at one of the hotels in Hunt Valley. It's not a far drive from Hopkins (unless you hit horrific traffic) and its clean, less crime, and has a wegmans.
Hunt Valley? Is this some kind of sick joke?
? It’s an area to the north. More likely to have outdoor pools because it’s more suburban.
Yes, I’m familiar with Hunt Valley, which is why I’m baffled at this suggestion. OP is looking for a fun weekend in the city at a hotel with a pool...not hanging out at the Wegman’s off Shawan Rd.

It looks like a really nice hotel. I was a little concerned if a kid that loves jumping into the pool 500 times in a row might not be the pool guest they are going for... Maybe it just depends on the time of day?
Yeah I would say it probably depends on time of day (assuming jumping in the pool is allowed)
