Agreed. Trade school is a great option for many and good for her that she recognized she wanted something different. It’s not an easy thing to do in a society that says college is the only option and anyone who doesn’t go is stupid or unambitious.

A routine among adults in any field can reset ones self confidence, earn a little cash, and point their direction back to college for the right reasons. Work is healthy!! Also how many periods in ones life is it fine to be a handyman, store clerk, restaurant server, receptionist, landscape assistant, delivery driver or volunteer - than when you aren’t even close to 25!
