Here in the Southwest the vast majority of cars are white -- they stay MUCH cooler in our glorious sunshine.

I like variety in my car colors. Right now I have a white SUV with red interior and I like it a lot. Just ordered next car and going with blue. (before that I had silver, red, blue). (I hate black cars so would try to avoid that but otherwise am pretty flexible but not willing to pay extra for green or some other more unusual color)

You keep telling yourself that honey.

I have a friend who fancies herself a hot mom and the day she bought a white Suburban was like the pinnacle of her hot mom achievement. She was over the moon.

I thought a white Range Rover was the requirement to be a hot mom? When did it turn into the Suburban?

I can't keep up.

What does having a white SUV have to do with being a "hot mom"? What even is a hot mom? Like actually attractive or just works out a lot and wears leggings? What are the other markers of a hot mom?

I feel like I've stumbled into a weird subculture here and I need more information. If you'd asked me yesterday what kind of car a hot mom would drive, I would have assumed something small and sporty. Not a white Suburban. That's like the blandest car I could possibly think of.

Better than silver

Because it was $7K off the MSRP + reduced taxes for a brand new, fully loaded version.

I couldn't justify spending $7K more for a different color. It was the last one on that lot. Helluva deal. The dealer wouldn't even negotiate with me because they wanted it gone and I knew how good of deal it was.

+1

I don't care about color. At all.

It's awful. Every car is a parking lot is white, black, or some variation of silver/gray.

We try to avoid these colors if at all possible, but just did buy a metallic gray one, because it had all the features and price we wanted in used car.

Or other car is Cherry Red.

When we bought a BMW a while ago, white, black and red were the least expensive. Everything else cost more.

I have a black car now but I really liked my white car. It didn't show the dirt like my black car did and was a lot cooler in the Florida heat where I'm from. I really wanted a navy car with tan leather, but it wasn't an option.

Because they are more visible than dark cars and show dirt less.

I don't like white cars that much, myself, but I can see why some people do.

Because I found a well-priced, low mileage, used vehicle that happened to be white.

Same. I like cars with color. Current one is red, one before that was blue, and green before that. My first car was white, but I was broke and it was the one on the used car lot that I could afford.
