I thought the same thing when I heard of that league. MLS? "NEXT!" I yelled. Hopefully something better will come along.

I agree with the MLS/Ecnl comment but lets hold on for a minute with GA. GA is quickly declining and soon will be like CCL.

How would you know MLS Next is a great league when they just started it last year? Their top tier has been around since the 90's and still can't beat a Mexican league team.

Skylines top girls’ teams are playing in GA next year and boys in ECNL. Beach FC girls likely will follow suit.
Then beach fc has to find a league for their boys teams. Legacy has already jumped the ship to ECNL RL

EDP can extend south or just keep CCL as more local league.
There is already a more local league for Richmond through Hampton Roads, the VSL. It's where Beach and Rush's second teams play along with teams like the Kickers and Strikers second teams. There is no other option besides CCL for the Virginia Beach based teams. They could go ECNL-R if they were allowed in. That would make the most sense for now.
