We didn’t get a ton of insight and lots of the report seemed formulaic and applicable to all kids with that diagnosis. I didn’t feel like they were particularly engaging with my kid.
That’s interesting. We had the opposite experience. The doctor we met very much personalized the report to our child and gave very specific recommendations for both our child and for us as parents on how to manage behaviors we were seeing. Maybe it’s because we used a different Dr? We saw Dr. Boyars. I would never pay $5800 for a check the box assessment just to get a 504 plan. I went to get a full evaluation, recommendations and a plan for the future, which is exactly what we received.
