You can't change the locks. That will only backfire on you. I was only able to change the locks after my spouse left and started to come to the house several times with his AP to pick up our children. My attorney then sent him a cease and desist and said I could change the locks.

Move half your savings into a new account, seek an attorney’s advice, change the locks of attorney says ok.
