We use an Amazon echo for white noise, and keep it across the room from the Nanit. No issues.

Everyone seems to like the infant optics one. I had a cheap summer infant one for my first kid that worked fine, but it didn't last so I'm now looking for a new one for baby #2.

I'm the previous PP who bought a Eufy and used it until baby moved to nursery when the range no longer worked in our house (weird layout with main floor bedroom in a back addition for us). I really didn't want a wifi monitor and much prefer our Eufy to the Nanit we ended up getting for the nursery. I love the Eufy.

If you want a WIFI monitor that can pair with your phone, I strongly advise you to research the security of these, as they can be hacked if you don't change all the right settings and keep the firmware up to date. There are some deeply disturbing stories of monitors moving to capture women breastfeeding, or people talking/singing creepy things to babies. We only looked at FHSS monitors for that reason.
