This is OP. I guess that makes my post even more to the point: so dang difficult to get into even a T40 school with Ivy League type stats. Granted UVA is a public tuition blessing for in state residents. Just still amazed at what it takes to get in and the caliber of students being denied these days.
That is true. ED appears to have done in many more than qualified applicants to UVA. Public schools have no business offering ED as an option. It’s pure yield protection and is really unfair to top instate students who should have gotten an acceptance.
