DC united does have summer camps. The DC united academy starts at U-15 but I am not sure why they are different then the Red Bulls or Philly union that look to have academy teams at a younger age.

Thanks. This is what I was looking for.

Hard pass. We do not want that kind of driving for games in 8th grade.

the 2007 SYC and Alexandria teams will drop the MLS Next for next year. They will go back to EDP.

I have a 2008- 8th grader next year.

Where do you live? We can tell you the best 08 boys team near you that has minimal travel. MLSNext and ECNL teams would be out if you don't want to travel far.

Arlington.

Actually this begs the question -- with so much soccer interest in NOVA, how is it that DC United is not on par with NY Red Bulls in terms of youth development opportunities? We used to live in NY/NJ area and our kids did some NY Red Bulls development academy/camps as kids. Why is DC United so absent from youth soccer around here?

Can someone please explain the difference in terms of location of games, commitment etc between an mls club and an ecnl?

I don’t care about prestige. I truly don’t know much about either.

Thanks in advance !

You're blind but that's ok.

A club that has a racist name shouldn't have its members dishing out insults rooted in ableism.

lol you're pathetic

*the hope

How is mlsnext different than ecnl?

I have a similar question. Arent the MLSNext teams the same top teams from each club and they just play in a different league? I guess all team move up a level so perhaps a way to suck more cash out of parents? Where do the mlsnext team play?

fair enough but I also agree that the name should be changed. I don't think you know what you are talking about when you say that there isn't any talent left. Yes most went to SYC. There is talent although not on an entire collective team but there is individual talent there still. I have seen it across a few different age groups.

A different poster said LMVSC doesn't have any talent. I won't speak to that. I will speak to the truth that LMVSC needs to change its name.
