Yes, I would. As Emily Oster points out in this article, statistically your unvaccinated child is as likely to have a severe case of COVID as a vaccinated adult:

Same here.

We've eaten out a few times over the past year with kids. DH and I are both vaccinated now so we will likely eat out more often.

We're heading in to a time of year when eating outside is quite pleasant, so I would take advantage of that for the time being. In a few months when it's beastly hot out, I'm guessing our numbers will be in a place where I'd be more comfortable eating inside a restaurant with the family.

We've eaten out as a family many, many times since last summer. Inside and out.

Indoors is much more risky then outside. Go places where you can sit outdoors.

Same. And we only eat out with our immediate family.

We’ve been eating out with the kids fairly regularly during this whole time.

No, but that's because our kids are doing in-person school and we're not willing to do anything to risk that and have to keep them home for a week or two to quarantine. So for us, the risk of our kids being exposed to someone in a restaurant, while very slim, is not worth the benefit of eating inside. But that's why we're making the decision, not because we think they'd actually get COVID or die from it if they ate inside a restaurant. (We are also both vaccinated).

I love to eat out and my kids (4&5) love it too. There was a period where it wasn’t fun, but luckily it seems to be over. That being said, we won’t be taking them to dine inside until the community spread is way down. To be honest, I don’t feel the need to dine indoors myself, even though DH and I are both vaccinated. Again, for me, it’s all about the community spread.

This except one step more cautious. Outdoor dining when adults are vaccinated and numbers are way down-- maybe summer? Indoor dining might wait until kid is vaccinated too. Not sure yet.

We all love eating out-- like it's our main form of entertainment normally!-- but we've just had a hard time understanding why so many people are champing at the bit to do that, of all things. I miss date nights. I miss events. I miss the convenience of popping into a restaurant when out and about. I don't so much miss the food because we can get takeout. But missing eating out at restaurants per se? That experience? I mean, yeah, sure, but it's so far down my list... even when the risk is lower it's higher than many other activities and just doesn't feel worth it.

I'm a NP who hasn't eaten out indoors or out and doesn't plan to for a long time, and it's always been fun for us. A little dicey for a stretch of toddlerhood but she loves it too.

No. Don’t really feel a need to, with so many places doing take out.

Outside -- truly outside, not in one of those enclosures -- and distanced, yes.
