All this plus gas. The things we don't buy at Costco are ones we don't get through much of. Also not spices, rice, lentils - we get those at Indian/ Asian store.
Am I the only one that hates the containers the gallon milk comes in? I won't buy it there because of it.
PP who hates the milk, they modified the spout ever so slightly so it's not hard to pour anymore. My husband used to hate Costco milk for that reason, but is fine with it now.

Also, I've taken to picking up dinner on the day I do my Costco run (pizza, one of the refrigerated heatable things) because dealing with that big a shopping trip destroys my will, and it's nice to have something easy that night. Especially with a new baby!

NO but they comingle in their Wherehouse

We tend to buy:
Canned goods
Olive oil
OTC allergy meds (super money saver)
Shampoo
Bread
Some clothing
Paper products
Cleaning products
Glasses (but don't expect much individual customer service, they are usually too busy)

Storage space is important. Here are my frequent purchases, focused on food:
- milk!
- eggs (we use a lot of eggs, and having 24 at a time works well for us)
- packs of ground turkey, chicken breasts, chicken thighs, flank steak
- crab-stuffed salmon; my kids love it
- frozen burgers
- cereal
- often used spices like taco seasoning and cinnamon
- special occasion meat, like their beef filet
- bulk mac & cheese or cans of food we use a lot (black beans)
- condiments - ketchup/mustard/relish package
- big boxes of granola bars or other snacks; these were great back in the days of bringing snacks to soccer games, etc
- the individually packaged avocado mash thingys
- pre-cooked Indian food
- vitamin water, seltzer waters, etc
- wine/beer
non-food
- batteries
- paper towels & toilet paper
- razor blades
- laundry detergent
- sometimes toiletries
Things I used to buy but have learned better:
- most produce, especially berries -- they go bad too quickly for us, the quantities are too much, and take up way too much space in the fridge

We are family of 6 but dropped ours. I didn’t love it and storing such large quantities was a pain

whether you want bulk convenience foods or bulk ingredients for home cooking, they have what you need. I get the 12lbs of King Arthur flour, mega bags of artisanal dried beans, vanilla, maple syrup, and so on. If I have to send in a pre-packaged snack to my kids' school, they have great options.
