We went 5 years ago. It was good but not amazing, definitely not mind blowing. It was for a special occasion and was honestly quite disappointing. I had thought that we somehow happened on an off-night, but have since seen several threads here stating the same so clearly our experience is not unique.

This was my comment. I wasn’t necessarily expecting hip, but I also wasn’t expecting it to be so dated. You can be classic without feeling dated, which I is what thought it was.

I have been twice. The most recent time in 2018. It is not worth the money at all. The food is meh and the service is good, but the last time they got my order wrong for one of the courses. I've eaten in Michelin starred restaurants all over the world and The Inn at Little Washington can't come close to those experiences. I've hated the menu both times and struggled to find something to order. And I eat most everything. They do odd food combinations to try to be fancy. It just ends up tasting bad.

Although the food isn't great, the accommodations are luxurious. You will feel pampered and spoiled.

Went with a group of friends. We got their early so they sat us with drinks in the "lounge" with little snacks. The food was ok.. trying to hard to make regular food fancy. The service was excellent. Too expensive for the food.

The experience staying overnight is great. I loved it for a night away from the kids.

Food was great. I also have been to lots of Michelin starred places and I think some of the meal was that but other parts were not all that great. So mixed on the food in my view. Still a great place to go if you are going to stay.

I have been to numerous Michelin star places and I will say, eh. The food was like fancy wedding food. Service was exceptional. It was just a bit dusty for my taste. I like a more modern fine dining experience, but that's just me. We stayed at the White Mouse in (or whatever it is called).

My parents took my husband and me about 5 years ago (I was 35). Our overall review was middling (I should note that my parents love fine dining, and have been to as many Michelin starred places as they can get to). Like a previous commented, I found it super old-fashioned, and stuffy. For me, way too heavy on the truffles (in nearly every course and amuse bouche!)

Around the same time, we ate at Komi, and it was to die for.

DH and I went for our 10th anniversary about 4 years ago, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the service was phenomenal, and we loved the post-dinner kitchen tour. It definitely has a certain kind of ambiance that doesn't appeal to everyone, but we enjoyed it as a one-time experience. It wasn't the absolute best meal we've ever eaten (our top meal was at Komi) but it was easily in the top 3.

We went a couple of years ago when we were 31 and 32. We love dining experiences and have done them all over the world, and just were not that impressed, especially for the price.

The food and service were good, and it was cool to get a kitchen tour - but for that price I wanted to be blown away more.

DW and I went when we were 30 or so. It was fine, but we didn’t really feel like it was worth it.

I could have written this. Same experience. We stayed the night, I had floral nightmares.

I went for a birthday dinner — and absolutely loved it. I didn’t find it stuffy or overly formal. The food was incredibly and indescribably delicious.
