Speaking of language, while you're at it, maybe don't use the term "get butthurt"?
Thanks for proving my point. So fragile.![]()

DP I grew up in a Latin culture getting made fun of by my family for mispronouncing words in Spanish. I really hated it and I still have anxiety speaking Spanish (my native language). Which is why Navarro's response to this kind of pisses me off. It's annoying and disrespectful, but racist? Please.
OMG yes. Try speaking French or Italian or German and watch how you get made fun of. America has the standard "Midwestern " newscaster accent, but so much variety. I am a native English speaker who mispronounces a ton of words due to my reading vocabulary being higher, and I'm often asked where my accent is from and if I'm Canadian. Whatevs.
I haven't listened to the audio but it hardly sounds scarring. It sounds like they thought they were speaking privately and weren't even trying to be mean. Just chatting like we ALL do at work when we think no one is listening. This lady could have really taken the high road here and come off like a great boss/leader.

I'm part Venezuelan and the convo sounds both private and innocuous. TBH, Venezuelan speaking English accents are cute. When my family does it, a lot of the words they pronounce sound cute. I wish people would stop actively seeking outrage; there's enough out there without manufacturing it. Or as we would say in venezuela - no es chevere hacer un bochinche sobre esso, pana!
This. None of us can live up to our own expectations. she needs a thicker skin and I lost a lot of respect for her. She just ruined 2 lives when a warning could have been sufficient. the world is becoming a boring place when we can't even make fun of each other anymore.[/quote
Okay I'll make fun of your kids to their face and if I make them cry, they should just learn to toughen up and not be weak.![]()
Trust me, they won't cry. They grew up in a culture where some good natured, and not so good natured ribbing just bounces off them.

So dems, how does this happen?
Explain?
Democrats aren't immune from racism, neither are progressives. It's not hard to explain.
That’s why it’s so hilarious to watch them eat their own.

I've been called cracker, big nose, fatty multiple times. I ignore, others negative opinions of me. Why should I care?
