The point is the logic doesn't follow. The OP is implying that the schools are the cause of the cases. That would be true if there were no other places to contract covid - if the rest of society was completely locked down. But the fact that a teacher or a student at a school got covid in nearly all cases means that they contracted it at a restaurant, gym or sporting event. Even the CDC admits there are only a few cases of covid transmission in schools and those cases were of unmasked teachers eating lunch together or having meetings.

Educating children in schools does not lead to covid - which is what the OP is implying.
