Katherine. I hate the C. Someone in our family spells it with a C and she is terrible. I don't like Kath AR ine or Cath AR ine or any or the other spellings.

In English, the letters K and Y can be a bit “takkyy”. There’re plenty of exceptions, and Katherine is ok, but I still think that C looks... cleaner.

Catherine is presumably the "right" way, although mine is spelled Kathryn.
People almost never spell it right. Kath-Ryn. That's it. Not an extra "e" or an extra "i".
