Now for the physical part - I’ve been tracking but realize that I have no friggin clue how many calories my body actually needs.
Has anyone had metabolic testing done as part of a weight loss / life style shift? Where? Was it worth it? Helpful?
Yes metabolic testing is worth it. Especially if you get a dexa scan and a resting metabolic rate test.
Gives you a baseline on how many calories your body is burning and how much body fat and lean mass you have.
It will be easy for you to figure out how much to eat and also help you understand how much you should be working out.
If you want more information about it or help with it contact Julian at Prepare for performance in rockville. he has made some great suggestions for me on this exact topic.
