What?

they have been saying this from the start. Siri fail. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Saying what though?

That the kids would not have manipulatives in the classroom. (Pencil paper not included). The classroom looks much different now.

Our teacher said to put them in their backpacks. The ones from the toolkit. Does it depend on grade perhaps?

Probably - gave not heard that for 4th/5th.

There’s a large variety of manipulatives at any given school, well beyond the sad little sets that kids have been given.

“We” told who? Who are you and who do you think you’re talking to?

Given that this virus is almost exclusively airborne, banning manipulatives is anti-science and absurd, whether you acknowledge that or not. The “any single thing” that can compromise safety is bringing kids back in the buildings, so try again.

Hey, pretty sure that if kids are eating in cafeterias (obviously) without masks, covid is what it is. It’s mostly just theater for the scared.

Just like no new instruction last spring.

APS staff is making the right call much like parents are making the right call by seeking an actual education for their children elsewhere.

Please do. System will be better without the COVID deniers. Not just this year. But always.

System’s on a steady decline and that’s not changing. Makes no difference whether a few deniers are there along with some Never Open-ers.
