LCPS Teacher- I just don't want to get anyone else sick. I don't want to get Jane mom or BOB grand[parents sick. It really sucks that we have to go back. I told my 6th graders life is not worth rushing and we shouldn't rush anything and talked to them how school board rush into reopening. there still 1,000 cases a day and we not sure how well vaccine works so yah it won't be easy..
Yes it’s them. It’s probably the same person who kept claiming snow days were taking off from their maternity leave. They say nonsense designed to rile people up.
Not sure how well the vaccine works is one of the most B. S. comments I have ever heard. The data is staggeringly good. Real world effectiveness is as good as
clinical trials across ALL populations (besides kids, since we aren't vaccinating them, we don't know) and the vaccine prevents transmission almost as well as it prevents disease. Vaccine misinformation drives me crazy.
New poster. Very pro-vaccine. Trying very hard to get my first shot (1B). However, there is a range of efficacy that we just don’t know because none of the vaccines were tested on those populations. People with illnesses like mine were excluded from the trials, but my district says I should be fine to return to the classroom. My doctor disagrees. She treats a number of teachers with the same condition in the DMV and says only my district is not granting them ADA accommodations. She’s prepared to say I can’t work at all.
