She wants to know what people honestly think, I’m telling her. I wouldn’t spontaneously volunteer this info to someone who hadn’t asked first.

Does no good for her to think others wouldn’t find this weird and lame, esp. if he starts going to theme parks or conventions in costumes.


You’re assume he cares what people like you think. She clearly cares, but he might not.

Here’s the difference between you and me: Since I have something I’m passionate about, I can instinctively relate to other people who have a passion, even if I don’t personally share that interest. I simply relate to them as other people who have developed a strong interest in something.

Right now, there aren't any conventions or other events planned. But that will likely change, at which point, his costume will have a purpose. It just doesn't have a purpose *now.*
