For the past seven years, with my kids growing up I have had a Sienna and absolutely loved it. Everything fit easily, it was comfortable, could haul any amount of people and their gear plus the dog. Love it. My oldest is getting her license soon and she'll get the minivan as a primary vehicle. So I get a new car! My youngest is starting middle school, so I still have some years of hauling kids, but we'll still have the minivan in the family when needed.
What kind of car do I get for daily use? If we ever go back to the office, I will have a crappy commute downtown. But other than that, it would be just regular errands and groceries, etc. Do I buy a sedan like an accord or prius? To I get a smaller SUV like a RAV-4?
Since you bought a minivan to begin with there is several strikes against you. You can just accept your life as it is. Or buy a fun car and realize we are all going to die eventually.
PP: "Hey, look a thread with 'minivan' in the title! I think minivans are a sign of a sad, pathetic life, let me click on it and take the time to be snide and unpleasant to someone without providing any useful or helpful information. I bet everyone will think I'm cool and fun and making the most of life before I die."
I mean, really. We finally get an OP around here who's nice, has a reasonable question, doesn't mention her HHI, is not a troll, and doesn't require Jeff to intervene, and you've got to DCUM it up in here.
