The reason it’s 10 feet b/c outside its hard to monitor the 6 ft distance, so by saying 10 they will like end up 6 ft apart. There are no desks or guides and they are in motion. Kids can’t gauge distance well hence extra margin.
Don’t any of you have kids? Chill out.

It makes no sense for a masked recess. It's completely out of the norm for what people in Arlington have decided is okay and inconsistent with all of their other policies.

Kids sitting in rooms 6’ apart with masks hardly able to interact with each other and no getting pulled into groups with teacher, and the 10’ at recess with an extended day babysitter. No thanks. Everyone is “soooooo happy to be going back,” but I think it’s going to be a huge disappointment.

So much for science.
I'm so ready to put my house on the market. APS is a disgrace.
We’re doing exactly this. Saw the writing on the wall last March. 118 days and we’re gone. Can’t come soon enough.
If this is for real, where are you going?
Yes. Totally really. House goes on the market March 18. We’re going far away where kids are actually in school.
