We like our pano roofs, it seems to be pretty much a standard feature in any car over $40,000 these days. But I will note that it does tend to echo music and phone calls a bit, so just an FYI

Just an FYI that if you have a sunroof and actually open it often (like not just the shade but the window itself), it can cause leaks in the car. We discovered this the hard way when our car started literally filling with water on the passengers side every time there was a heavy rain. Turns out the frequent opening and closing of the sunroof loosened an internal part that allowed water to seep in between the windshield and the passenger side door. When we got it fixed, our mechanic told us it's a more common problem than you'd think. It's relatively easy to fix but in the meantime your car gets flooded, and then you have to have everything steam cleaned to avoid mildew issues.

We don't use the sunroof anymore.

All the time! Even when the glass isn’t open, we have the shade pulled back so that you can see through the roof - makes the inside of the car feel so much bigger!

Same.

Same. I do enjoy opening it on my solo drives or when running errands. Especially on nice days, with a coffee and some good music.

My last two SUVs had one and my current one doesn’t - my youngest hated when I had it open so I figured I could skip it for this one. I totally miss it.

I hate it, feel like I need to wear a hat in the car to keep the additional sun out of my eyes when DH drives and has to open the shade open.

Yes. Got a panoramic. This was the best option we got in the car. Usually leave the glass uncovered but never open the window itself. Sometimes on long family trips we end up covering it bc kids don't like the sun. But also, if driving and see the stars, kids sit in the back and I just hear them looking "up" rather than at their iPads or tv in the back. In this day and age kids never go out and just lay down and look at the sky---do I tell myself that this is Evolution of looking at the stars. Have a Range Rover.

I always forget it exists.

Good point. My friend had one in a Ford Edge and it got stuck open. Instead of a full repair she asked fir them to force it close. I’m looking into a Ford Edge as well.

I had to do this in a car ages ago. It was still an expensive repair to seal it shut. Mostly the time needed to access the window mechanism. I miss it every day.
