Yep. Super Y is a great way to stay playing 11 v 11. But private training and camps are better imo.
This is my question. We will do a couple of weeks camp. But would you say super y< private training?
My younger ds just want to keep playing soccer.
Super Y teams have larger rosters. The fam my dad made has 22-24 players. It works out because kids go on vacation and have other priorities, but that’s still a lot of kids! Private 1 v 1 or even small group training helps my dad because he gets more touches and the coach tried to put kids in growth situations. For example, my ds needed to be more aggressive and quick so private trainer put him in a group with kids 2-3 years older. It’s helped a lot! Super Y teams are more limited on what they can do, but nonetheless a great way to keep in 11 v 11 rhythm.
