We don't. There are typically one or two kids that turn 7 the summer before first grade due to redshirting. I do imagine that there will be more this coming year because of the abundance of people who redshirted their spring b-day kids that they didn't want to have DL. I have a girl with a summer b-day who will be starting K on time. Yes, we're a little nervous that she'll be in a class with kids potentially a year and a half older than her (we know someone who redshirted a JANUARY b-day, which is absurd), but that's not typical.

My son is in K this year (turned 6 last week) and I couldn't believe how many of the kids in the class were already 6 when the year started. A lot of July/Aug/Sept birthdays.
Yes, and unfortunately when you have so many of these older kids, the expectations shift, unfairly, for the younger ones who started on time. I have K teachers in my family and I don’t think they even realize it.
