Because every single thread on this site that deals with having kids after age 30-35 gets dozens of comments saying your chances of getting pregnant at those ages are nonexistent and that most of those people you know who got pregnant actually had IVF and just didn't tell you.

YEP! Here too. Was not supposed to be in my fertility window. Totally knocked up, over 40.
