I really like the yeast waffle recipe.

If you cook with a scale, the ratio of flour:liquid:fat is often off - more flour, I’m guessing because it’s a little easier to knead, but then a much denser product.

Really? I cook with a scale (aside to the rest of you -- get a scale! You'll never go back!), and I haven't had trouble.

There are a few recipes I use from other sites, such as Smitten Kitchen and Serious Eats' Best Chocolate Chip Cookies but nothing from Stella Parks, but KA is my go-to unless I'm using one of my mom's recipes.

I agree. I have no time to measure flour ever again.

I loooove their blueberry pie. It's my go to when I go blueberry picking.

I just had bad luck with their king cake recipe - it turned out super-dry. The instructions were pretty vague considering it's basically a bread - "mix and knead all of the dough ingredients together to form a smooth, very silky dough", so maybe it's an old/unpopular one. For contrast, their recent cinnamon roll recipe is WAY more detailed and has accompanying video. So, I'm sure the quality and usability is all over the map.

In terms of large recipe aggregators, I seem to have the best luck with Food52 and the Washington Post.

I had mostly good results. There were couple that probably was not verified/tested before uploading the recipe on the website.

I agree! And I bake a lot, these are in my top two favorite brownie recipes.

+1

I also love their chocolate breakfast muffins.

I've had really good luck. Their whole wheat blueberry muffins, Mardi Gras king cake, zucchini brownies (they are much, much better than they should be), chocolate zucchini bread, and pumpkin yeast bread are all ones I've made and liked. The comments are often helpful too - not quite as good as Cooks Illustrated, but they add something to the recipes.
