Consider lower tier schools that award merit aid. Oberlin, Denison, Kenyon.

Are you thinking about the expense in terms of the brand, or in terms of her experience?

i would look at liberal arts colleges below top 20--won't be party schools and good peers.

But the non top SLACs give a lot of merit. What about College of Wooster or some place like that?

This is comical, W&M has an almost 40% acceptance rate so basically almost half of applicants get in

Yes, its a great college but to say its not a safety for anyone is like saying VT is not a safety for anyone, both are great but for those that have been accepted to ivies both are not only considered safeties (if even considered) but also comparable
