Where do you live where it’s possible to choose your date and time to be vaccinated?

I chose what day/time within a window of several days. Every educator in Fairfax County has this option.

Nannies are considered educators in Fairfax?

If one wants to pretend that one’s nanny is an educator, then yes there’s no verification needed to get the vaccine.

No pretense. Our nanny is an educator with a masters degree and years of teaching experience. She’s in a tutoring share now with our two kids and another family. We’re all working out of the house; two parents in the medical field and the other two essential personnel. Why shouldn’t she be in line with teachers, most of whom are working remotely?

The point is to vaccinate teachers so that they can get back into the classroom. Your children’s nanny/educator is in a bubble, and I doubt she’d be going back to a classroom this school year.

I’m homeschooling three elementary students. I’m designing and implementing the curriculum, yet I’m not attempting to jump the line. Leave the first wave for teachers and daycare workers who will be exposed more than nannies and home educators.

It wasn’t an option here in California. The website told you the day and time. Everyone would prefer a Friday shot.
