Middle school “dating” isn’t significant for most people. Obviously he places more importance on her than she does on him.

Wait, I am trying to visualize the entire conversation on FB. Your DH offers up his family’s summer house and the middle school girlfriend actually says she doesn’t remember your husband from that time period or visiting his family’s home. You may need to start a thread about this. If you went all the way back to middle school exes, you dug deep. I promise you it is entirely possible to forget about people you knew way back.

Very odd that she's doing this. It likely comes from a desire to protect her vulnerable emotions (she still likes him).

I moved a ton growing up so there are people who my friends mention who I completely do not remember. But I certainly remember every single person I “dated “. I doubt she holds a flame since middle school but maybe she has some other issues (some people with certain anxieties me pretend to not know someone because it’s awkward or if they think the person doesn’t remember them).
