Sneaking it in juice seems to be working!

We mixed natural calm Magnesium powder with orange juice. We gave a low dose and my very picky child was fine with it. We stopped after 3 months just in case long term use interferes with calciumbut we will resume if stress gets really high again. We still give Epsom salt baths once a week.

I use that Calm magnesium supplement you add to juice. You can get it on Amazon. My doctor said give them a small amount of it and when they start to get loose stools then back off and reduce amount.

Attentive Child is okay. But you have to take like 4 of them to see any benefit.
Can you post a link of your powdered stuff?

The PP wrote that comment in 2011 so maybe the company changed the formula over the years.

It's a large chewable (diameter of a quarter, but thicker) that tastes like a "Sweet-Tart" candy (if you're old enough to remember those). My DC objected the first time I gave him the tablet, but once he'd tried it (a VERY picky eater, mind you) he decided it was like candy. Hasn't objected since then. Frequently he asks for it.

Good luck!

Oh my gosh! Thank you so much! I've been looking for this!

I give my son Rhino Chewable Calcium with Vitamin D. It has 125 mg of Magnesium. Luckily, my 7 year old who gets tics likes the taste of them. My other two children (who don't really need them) don't like them. They are the chalky kind of vitamin; they prefer gummy vitamins. Nature's Plus Animal Parade vanilla sundae calcium vitamins also contain magnesium, but not as much.
