I’ve noticed Elrich & Gayles haven’t talked at all recently about relaxing any restrictions, outside of school reopening (and only because Hogan forced them).

Meanwhile, we’re down to an average daily case count of 11 per 100,000. We have a 3.38% positivity rate, indicating ample testing.

But Elrich tweeted out recently how awful our metrics are.

Idiot.

We’re vaccinating 1.6 million people a day. Have you noticed?

Only 11% of MoCo has received a shot. We are still only vaccinating Tier 1A.

The government should focus on opening schools.

The "gathering" that I'm concerned about is a school; classes for my homeschoolers. I really want the numbers up, even just a bit higher. So, no. There is no legitimate reason for the government to limit the private assembly of citizens when businesses, schools, etc. are open.

No. What’s ridiculous is opening ANYTHING, regardless of capacity limitations, during a pandemic.

If people would’ve just stayed home for two weeks back in March like we were all supposed to, this would’ve been over by April.

Wow then why did Wuhan have to lockdown for so much longer? And Australia?

According to today's paper, ALL area numbers are higher than when DMV localities first placed restrictions, but compared to the dumpster fire that was fall/winter we are doing better and governments are itching to open things up.

This is not true about current restrictions on group size, which was implemented in mid November. MoCo rates are lower now.

If it were up to Elrich and Gayles, never.
