FYI, BIL has high cholesterol. He tried everything with his diet. Did not touch any meat but some fish for two years ate salads like sheep.
Nothing helped at all. His mom died at 49 from a stroke and heart issues. Sometimes it is genetic. He has to take meds, no diet helped.

What about meat? Did you get rid of the most meat? There is a pig called mangalitza that has cholesterol-free lard.
Are you rich?
Also eat pomegranates, a ton of them.
