Well the HAIR. My god that hair would age you 20 years. My mom had a short do like that at my wedding in 1998 and looks younger now at 77 then she did back then. She has an elegant bob now.
The coral jacket hair is basically the hair Princess Diana had.
And I always thought Princess Di looked MUCH older than her true age. She died at 36, but the hairstyle and some clothing choices made her look closer to 46. Don't get me wrong, she was very attractive---but those hairstyles for older women in the late 80s/early 90s were atrocious.
I really do wonder how we let fashion get away with doing that to women of a certain age. We spent twenty years just letting anyone 35+ look 65 and frumpy. It was such a tragedy. Even current style icons like Nancy fell victim.
I mean, the early 2000s were just a total mistake. The fashion, haircuts, makeup, all of it. We let genuinely attractive and stylish people look so bad. We also let Dennis Hastert be Speaker though so the bar wasn’t high.
