LMAO! Our FCPS PE teacher just plays youtube videos. She doesn't even turn her camera on. My kids can choose whether to do specials or not, they leave the screen on and wander off. Surprisingly both got all 4s in all specials for their report card, despite never participating.

Why should she? No one else turns on the camera why should she?

Does being logged in but playing legos nearby count?

From what I can tell, it's mostly health lessons.

Same. Too bad there hasn't been school since last March .

Yep which is why my kid doesn't log on for specials.

Mine log on since I’m working anyway. I’m pretty sure they play video games during that time. They did exercises for the first month and stopped.

2nd graders loves her PE teachers. They were doing some kind of ninja PE lesson last week and my daughter is currently in her ninja phase couldn't stop talking about it. But our school has 2 awesome PE teachers that really go above and beyond.

Same here!

So if the teachers aren't putting in an effort, then your kids can skip it? How do you measure sufficient teacher effort?

My kids like it, so they do it. If they didn't we wouldn't.
