It’s all over Reddit. This guy’s life is in danger. Even if he wasn’t recently working for the feds he’s an easily turned informant. It would be great to get his testimony on his meeting with Trump in the White House. A team of US Marshall’s should go in and rescue him. He can go into witness relocation disguised as a Black man.

Also the founder of Proud Boys, "We will no longer cuck to the left by appointing token negroes as our leaders. We will no longer allow homosexuals or other 'undesirables' into our ranks. We will confront the Zionist criminals who wish to destroy our civilization.

But were they doing that for Tarrio’s sake or so that they could continue to have an informant embedded with the Proud Boys? What’s the implication here? Also, why isn’t the information about his being a confidential informant sealed? Doesn’t public knowledge of it put his life at risk, as well as make him useless as a CI in the future?
He was in court in 2014 asking for a reduced sentence for his cooperation. That's why his lawyer and the prosecutor were discussing it in court. Back then, the proud boys didn't exist, so he probably had nothing to fear. I guess the guys he snitched on were not that scary.
I’m no lawyer, but it seems like this part of sentencing arguments should happen in the judges chambers and be redacted in any transcript that is made public.

Will he even go to prison?
