This has been the best thing for my kids. I felt hopeless, helpless and defeated until I checked it out. Now my kids do self-paced lessons and quizzes in all subjects. It is efficient and they are learning considerably more, during hours less time, than they had been since virtual started last spring. Our days are so much better now. I feel relieved that they’re staying on track during this time and even catching up from lost learning. I can monitor their progress and it’s FREE!!
I just wanted to share because I know I’m not the only one who was filled with anxiety about this and it truly has been a load off since we started doing it.
Oh and we are not doing the public school day any longer. No more frustrations and zombie mode.

I think we are approaching the time when homeschooled kids and kids that are in top privates are going to be at a huge advantage over those in public schools (even the “good” ones).

Giant whatever
Do you even have kids? Why would you troll this when it’s meant to help other families struggling with DL? Lame.
Of course I have kids. Seems like a giant ad. My kids would MUCH rather see friends and teacher even if over zoom. Today my 1st grader came home talking about a book Kamala Harris’s sister wrote about her. I prefer socialization and relevant learning even if virtual.

Anonymous wrote:My kids have used Khan academy during the summer to keep their math skills up. I love, love, love it. The lessons are great and my kids always feel confident going into the next school year. My HS DC has also used it to prep before starting an AP class. It’s a wonderful site and a great organization that is on our yearly donation list.
I am now homeschooling our youngest due to the pains of DL and I use it in combination with two other curriculums as well.
