I do too. I assume they will Covid disclosures and health safety measures. Temps taken, masks when not actively playing. Much like practices and games now.
They should also make it VERY clear that you will be given another tryout if you have to quarantine or been exposed to Covid. Soccer parents are nuts and would risk everyone else's health to make sure their kid didn't miss a tryout---ignoring safety guidelines.
I wouldn't be surprised if some clubs do something similar as last year where current players keep their roster spot and tryouts are for new players. Totally a guess.
I feel like ours will not because they misplaced dozens and dozens of kids who are stuck in the wrong spot all year. True tryouts are needed.
Agree with this, and if anything, we have too many kids. Everyone came back plus new kids.

As a coach I’d recommend you start now and not wait for Summer. Get your work in during Spring so in Fall you’re close to optimal performance. If you wait for Summer tryouts you’ll be regarded as mediocre due to lack of activity and rusty touches on the ball.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the good advice. DC will need to continue social distancing until a couple of family members get the second dose of the vaccine, so will not play this spring (at least not gameplay on team) by late Spring. I'm wondering if people expecting any different landscape for, say, July or August tryouts for joining a team at the end of summer. If not, we might do a rec team and a lot of clinics in fall, but we're hoping he could at least make a lower level travel team for fall and then work his way up after that.
If you're paying, you will definitely get on a low level travel team... can likely walk on in the fall.
It’s the only reason clubs Like Loudoun $occer exist.
Their greed and need to sustain a handful of $150,000+ salaries justifies having like 6 or 7 “levels/tiers”
They got exposed hard and nasty in Spring 2020. Took a so called pandemic for it but they proudly kept fees for no services rendered.
They lost a gravel team per age group in both boys and girls side and the hemorrhage hasn’t stopped. Some teams are getting dismantled. Including those with your super trooper A licensed stars. Why is this happening?
Actually... they got exposed by..... wait for it........
Themselves.
Oh good. We're back to Loudoun bashing. About time. Can't believe we let this slide for weeks!
You can thank McLean for that!

Not PP. But I’m a parent and former coach. There’s no lie in the previous statement. If you feel safer or more comfortable throwing the name troll out there suit yourself.
People lie. Facts do not.
