I’d like to add that I believe in covid and believe in masks and think we should be careful. But I don’t think it’s everywhere and I think we need to take small risks to keep our kids mentally healthy.

So, you won’t believe something is true unless it happens to you or a loved one? Life has many more important lessons in store for you, my friend. I have had multiple students who have had it and who have had relatives die from it.

Or testing. So, if you are out in public, just assume that someone in your vicinity has Covid and act accordingly.

There isn't. Someone on my kid's team got Covid and I only know because my kid told me. Not basketball.

Yes! No communication from APS. The only way I’ve found out able possible exposure in an APS building is from a co-worker herself. No word from APS, Arlington Co or my Admin.

If you haven’t been contacted then you weren’t considered exposed. It’s as easy as that. They can’t contact you about every time someone get sick. It would be a privacy violation.

Because APS is not being transparent and posting dashboards, people feel like they have to keep it quiet. That’s why you don’t see more details here. It’s ridiculous, there should be no shaming because of positive Covid. We should be sharing with each other so we understand where the cases are coming from and who else could possibly be infected.

The Fairfax county health department is following their protocols for covid.

Ugh. If they can’t keep up with tracing with current rates, then hybrid is not a good idea. At least for the older kids who are getting it.

contact tracing is in triage mode, can't keep up and trace all the cases anymore
