Kid is not getting into UCLA from OOS with mediocre GPA. Also UCLA is heavily Asian and White.

I’ve looked at nothing seriously.
My older child only looked at Ivy League schools.
With this child, high SATs, mediocre GPA in mostly APs. This child needs diversity, DC is half AA. Most elite schools not an option because of GPA requirements.
What about Drexel?


Your child is a junior now? Grades on an upward trajectory? Is the GPA at least about a 3.5w?

OP, you mentioned Drexel. That was on DD's initial list. We liked it because of their co-op program; looked to be a good path for internships and careers. (Came off her list because she didn't care for the city-feel campus.)
