My 8yo does hers herself twice a day. I brushed her teeth for her until she turned 8. Cavity free so far.

We put a second set of toothbrushes in the kitchen and it’s drastically increased the morning teeth brushing.

DS Is 4. We let him brush his teeth in the morning then we brush his teeth and floss at night

Twice a day with a toddler for about a minute each time. I count to sixty aloud.

Very age dependent. My 3 year old brushes twice a day, maybe 10 seconds each time. My 7 year old does it 90 sec each time. 7 yo has a timer but starts it before he puts toothpaste on.

Another mom admitting my kid (7) only brushes once a day (at night).

Somehow we never slotted it in our routine-- she's good with routines, so we could. I've tried a couple of times, but it hasn't taken because I'm unfortunately a bit lazy about it. Gross though it may be, I have some sensory issues that have always made me brushing-averse, so I only consistently brush at night myself, and then I do brush mid-morning now that I'm home all day, but just weekdays.

The good news is that she flosses every night, and she does brush for 1.5-2 minutes, so that's something?

I’m sorry, but no kid brushes twice a day for 2-3 minutes. Not does any adult. Count 120-180 seconds and then respond.

We use the Wiggles and Oral B apps, so yes... help.

My kids are older but we all got sonicare electric toothbrushes. I never knew you had to brush for 2 mins until their dentist told me that it was recommended practice to do that. The sonicare toothbrush or any other electronic toothbrush has a built in timer which makes it much easier to adhere to the 2 min standard. That's been a game changer. Also, as your kids get older, get a tongue scraper.

Twice a day most days. I don't pay attention to how long, but more that we get each tooth. I'm just glad they are doing it. Kids are 4 and 6. I still help the 4 year old, the 6 year old has started doing it on her own.

6 and 4. They brush their own teeth in the morning - probably about 30 seconds, maybe get 3 teeth. In the evening, we brush their teeth for 1 minute. Their dental checkups have been great.

I brush at night, kids brush by themselves after breakfast. I don't do full 2 minutes. Dentist always says we are doing a good job of brushing, so I go by that. Our dentist said until age 8, we should be assisting.
