Playing Columbia which has a 15-year-old starting and two shots on goal into games, geez talk about a lopsided matchup

What happened to the other young superstars such as Lavelle, Mewis, etc?

Lavelle needs better conditioning.

Sam Mewis is just fantastic.

A PSG women's team player's monthly salary is about 10,000 euros, while Lyon's Olympique Lyonnais, which has been grooming a women's team since 2004 and has several international stars in its ranks, pays its players around 30,000 to 40,000 euros a month, according to figures disclosed by France Football

It’s also no secret around the NWSL that Lyon offered Macario far more money than she could make in the NWSL’s standard salary structure. And because Macario would have had been forced to enter the NWSL through its draft, she’d have had no say in where she ended up...
...But it’s impossible to miss the growing number of major Americans who call European clubs home: Christen Press and Tobin Heath at Manchester United, Sam Mewis and Rose Lavelle at Manchester City, and Alana Cook at Paris Saint-Germain. Mewis’ former North Carolina Courage teammate Abby Dahlkemper is also reportedly heading to Man City on a long-term deal.

Though the pandemic was a factor in the moves of the Manchester quarter, it wasn’t for Cook or Dahlkemper. The NWSL also took a hit when Australian star Sam Kerr left the Chicago Red Stars for a much bigger salary at Chelsea.

And Macario isn’t the only marquee college prospect to choose Europe over the NWSL in recent years. Deyna Castellanos chose Atletico Madrid so when she left Florida State early a year ago, and Khadija “Bunny” Shaw chose Bordeaux when she moved on from Tennessee in 2018.
Three leading Canadians have never set foot in the NWSL, despite the Canadian Soccer Association bankrolling the salaries of its top players in the league: Lyon’s Kadeisha Buchanan, Paris Saint Germain’s Ashley Lawrence, and Chelsea’s Jessie Fleming. Buchanan and Lawrence were college teammates at West Virginia, and Fleming played at UCLA.

No, NWSL needs demand. The market doesn't have any demand for NWSL. It's propped up by USSF because (get ready) "Americans don't care about women's soccer, only the USWNT".

euro clubs are propped up by their mens teams. NWSL needed the same arrangement with the MLS the wnba had with the NBA, but MLS didn't want the burden

After the WNT’s lawsuit there is no f’ing way. That lawsuit killed DA because US Soccer was not Committee equal resources to both genders. If a MLS team had a women’s team they would have to provide the same funding, etc. They do not have that problem in Europe. I agree that Americans do not care about women soccer(they do not care about men’s soccer either). They only care about the Women’s World Cup. I do not know if the NWSL will survive the changes being forced through because of the WNT’s lawsuit.

what you said isn't remotely true. Look at the WNBA

Sure. Did WNBA players sue the NBA for pay inequity? US soccer did a top to bottom review as part of the lawsuit. Changes were made.
