Confronting these people gets you nowhere but it sucks to continually have the few fun things left ruined by people who are selfish. I am 100% sure that these are the same people who “save” lounge chairs at hotel pools that prohibit it, manspread on subways, and eat the last cookie.

My daughter was actually able to avoid the pack of adults most of the time, but their kids were all unmasked, and she couldn’t avoid the kids. 6-8 different families, all with unmasked kids. I don’t think my daughter will catch covid running past one of those kids outside, but I do think she could catch it from going down the tube slides right after them or being in a tunnel with them or being in a treehouse or waiting at the top of the slide with several of them.
It was one thing when I preferred masks at crowded playgrounds but it wasn’t the law. It’s the law now and some people still don’t do it. It’s infuriating.

Anonymous wrote:Just venting. I wanted to say something to these adults but my husband insisted we just leave. We are in dc where it’s the law to wear masks. This was a small playground, the adults were talking animatedly and loudly, and the kids (masked, except for theirs) had to pass around their conversation to go from one part of the enclosed area to another. What would u have done?

Pretty much life as usual for them.
