It was so boring at MIL's every freakin xmas eve. There was no mayhem. Kids had to sit on floor, and take turns opening one gift from pile. They had to show everyone, get up to hug and thank the gift giver. Until I changed things forever!! Mwaahhaaa
We’ve done that at family get togethers. Everyone had a blast, from Great Grandma to toddlers.

They got them Christmas Eve and I already want to throw them away. Told kids upstairs in their rooms with doors closed only, but I can still hear the trill. These annoying toys are all they want to do. I put limits in place but they keep begging. I’m ready to lose it! Can I throw them away without hurting ILs?
Sure you can, but you can’t throw them away today or tomorrow without hurting your kids. I don’t know when the last time was that you enjoyed something as much as they’re enjoying these voice changers, but please, let them have these for an hour here and there.

This. And I say this as someone whose mom bought my kids that same voice changer. Yes, it's annoying. They'll lose interset in it before long. Get over yourself.
