She comes across a little insufferable IMO. I wouldn't say she's pro-Trump but she has definitely carried water for the Trump admin on more than one occasion. She tweeted out the Hunter Biden story. She tweeted something the other day about Trump spending the remaining days of his "first term" golfing or something rather which I believe she deleted after she got ratio'd to hell. She's also annoying with her quote tweeting of other media persons/outlets saying "can confirm" etc. Like, thanks Mags, we were all on the edge of our seat waiting for your scoop. There's lots of other examples, thats why they call her MAGA Haberman on Twitter.

She’s also about as painfully NYT as it gets and that’s a serious problem in its own right.
Her dad was also an NYT columnist. She's nepotism personified and is obsessed with fame and going viral -- just like the Kushners and Trumps.
The nepotism charge is such nonsense. Haberman worked in journalism for 19 years (NY Post, Politico, CNN) before joining the Times. And even those who disagree with her political slant cannot argue that she has broken many stories, and is an incredibly hard worker.
Nonsense? Do you not get that she's almost entirely the product of being from a comically small world? Even if you use the narrowest definition of nepotism, she's painfully the product of starting in the right place more than anything else.

I like her insights/reporting on Trump. I think she gets it right and she's no sycophant when interviewed about him.

She has written countless bl*wjob pieces about Kushner and Ivanka. And she dangles the once in a blue moon friendly piece to Sr for 4 years of scoops. It's all a charade. Maggie would be an actress if she hadn't been born an ugly duckling.
ITA.

She is unbelievably thin-skinned and petulant on social media, beyond defensive is her standard setting. I can’t agree with either of you on the merits.
Nepotism? Thin-skinned? Petulant? Those are all positives for a NYT career!
Ha! Jokes!!
Why don't I see you performing your bit over in the Parler thread? Cat got your tongue?

Anonymous wrote:The Dionne Warwick controversy might be that she publicly expressed concern about getting the COVID vaccine. I happened to catch Joy Reid's interview of Kamala Harris yesterday and this was mentioned. People are allowed to have their personal reservations about the vaccine, of course. But I think some are frustrated that she used a public platform to express her opinion on that, particularly since she is not a scientist or public health expert. The last thing we need is further distrust of vaccines among the Black community which has been hit hard by COVID-19.
