That said, we were exactly same as you: Healthy weights, in good shape, non-smokers, minimal drinking, perfect semen analysis and ovarian reserve. Still took multiple IUIs and multiple IVF egg retrieval’s and transfers before getting pregnant. Sadly, for some it’s just a mystery why it won’t work without (serious) medical assistance. Good luck!
Im one of these success stories! Tried for over a year (during that year found out about MF - low count and 0% morphology) so we started preparing for IUIs. I had the HSG as required before the procedure ... and fell pregnant the next cycle. There are studies that show an increased fertility for several months after an HSG, i like to think it "removed the cobwebs" and made it easier for my husbands funky little shaped men to get where they needed.
