I find it hard to believe that USPS has that many Covid cases. But it could be that they have Covid days that expire at year end that employees are using up.

200,000 people are testing positive every day at this point.

Sure, it's bad everywhere, but normally we hear about outbreaks at places of work. Are these outbreaks really happening at every sorting facility?? Can you point to documentation?

I think it’s relatively rare to hear about an outbreak at someone’s work that you don’t know. Here’s a summary of what was going on at USPS prior to July 31. I assume it’s many times worse now.

My guess is that once Biden takes office, the post office will start processing again.

PS - the only package I’m waiting on is sitting in a processing center in DC.

I have 4 packages that haven't arrived, shipped 8 and 9 days ago. They appear to have been waylaid in District Heights, MD--probably a processing center--for days, just sitting there not moving. Now tracking says "in transit, arriving late" for the last couple days. WTF.

I put in a ‘find my package’ request two days ago. Got back an email saying that the case was solved and closed in a generic broken-English form letter, and NO reference to my package, how it’s closed nor where it is.

Hmmm, now there’s a point... deliberately screw up mail delivery within the organization to prove your value

I paid for 2 day delivery and it’s been 12+ days with no update as to where the pkg really is located. Online simply says on it way to destination.

Not only have they f***ed up package delivery, but I have been having problems with first class mail for months. Not having my mail delivered and when they do half the time I get somebody else's mail.

Been Republicans plan for 40 + years starting with Reagan saying “government Is the problem.” They run to destroy it, and funnel our hard earned money to their wealthy donors. And they use Dog Whistles to keep us divided.

He did think it through— he just doesn’t think the way that most people do. He thinks that destroying the USPS will leave a gap that for-profit businesses will fill, and, one way or another, this will benefit him / them.
