Just get a wig in that color. I like the look on some people - brassy is kind of a fun aberration - but it doesn’t look right on many.

If you do decide to embrace this ugly, trashy look, you need to wait until the pandemic is fully over because you will be making SO many visits to the salon to maintain this. Root growth will be super fast: even in the pic you can see this poor woman's dark roots showing through, and one would presume she made sure her hair was looking as good as it is capable of looking for the magazine shoot). This looks bad on this woman and will look even worse on an ordinary woman who has to try to maintain frequent salon touchups and maintenance.

OP, I actually like this look and have done it. But others are right it is incredibly high maintenance. I had to get rid of it this year because for me, I need it touched up every 4-6 weeks to look good. Plus you can barely wash your hair— about once a week with purple shampoo, plus a deep conditioning mask. I liked the look, but couldn’t commit to that for the long term.

But if you want it, ask for a bleach and tone with cool/icy tones. You maybe to adjust expectations based on current color and how your hair does with bleach. Mine actually lifts really easily with bleach but I still had to do a second bleach process because it was too yellow after the first (possibly caused by old artificial color in my hair).

But really think it through. Doing this changed my whole coloring. On the one hand, it looked great because I’m pale with light eyes and it really brought that out. But I also discovered my wardrobe didn’t look right anymore and needed to adjust. Same with makeup, even jewelry. And something odd, I found it made my face look less feminine? Not terrible, but it was kind of an androgynous look on me and that took getting used to.

If it hadn’t been for Covid, I would have stuck it out for at least a couple years, but alas. I’m auburn again.

You bleach it first, fully, then you put on color. It kills hair, plus it looks terrible. But, your taste is your own, so have fun.

You need a great colorist and depending on the color you have, it may take a few tries. I have a similar color. First time she did it, I had to go back a week later for a toner. Now she gets my roots in one shot. I have light hair naturally mixed with grey so my grow in isn't drastic. I would really be careful with who to trust to go that light. They have to understand your texture and how it absorbs color.

I think if you worked with a good colorist you could likely do better.

I googled her. That weird smile she makes in every photo is very unnerving. And she has gorgeous perfect teeth so I don’t understand it. I find her whole vibe very unsettling.
