You should definitely get yourself some stuff. I realized once my daughter was old enough to notice that I didn't want her to think moms don't get gifts. And even if you are single and don't have kids, get yourself something!

Our kids know that Santa only fills the kids stockings so if my stocking isn’t filled then it will reflect poorly on exactly who(m?) it should reflect poorly on.

I bought myself Walkers shortbread. I would have also bought a cute gingerbread man mug but they’ve been sold out for weeks.

Warm socks or slipper socks

Fill your own! I started thinking that I didn’t buy myself anything this year. Not only do I usually fill my own stocking but I also buy myself some presents from Santa. The kids are teens and I’ve done this every year. Some years DH buys more than others and he laughs that Santa really treated me well when he sees I stuffed my own once again.

Today one of my kids asked why my stocking is always empty, of all years to ask and so close to the holiday. Guess I'm running out tomorrow to get a few small things to put in the stocking.

A small seasonal candle from Bath and Body Wirks and espresso truffles from Lolly and Pop. I was shopping for my teens there anyway.

Usually DH does my stocking, but I told him I’d grab a few small things for myself while I was out. With Covid, we’re trying to consolidate errands.

Been married for 25 years. Husband and I a always stuffed each other's stockings. My husband had been slacking off the past two years. Last year he sent my 18 year old daughter to Walgreens on Christmas eve because he forgot. This year I will be prepared. Tonight I bought two Ritter Sports while buying groceries tonight. I'll have a few more things purchased by Thursday.
